55 foot tug style traditional narrowboat, built 1992 by South West Durham Steel Craft. Fully grit-blasted above and below water-line and repainted 2010. New anodes, new stern tube and shaft and new rudder top-bearing fitted 2010. BMC 1800 engine overhauled and refurbished by Calcutt Boats May 2010, new camshaft, timing belt, injector pump, injectors and alternator fitted.
Fixed double bed, full galley with gas hob and half-cooker, Electrolux 240v fridge. Thetford C200 cassette toilet, shower and wash basin in bathroom. 20 inch flat-screen television. Morso multifuel stove , no back-boiler. Hot water heated by the engine. 2 x 110 Ah domestic batteries, 1 x 110 Ah Starter battery, all new 2010. 500W Inverter.
BSC to Feb 2014, BW licence to end 01/2011. Full condition survey May 2009 available.
Fitted as a 2-berth, but by changing the saloon sofa into a bed-settee could easily accomodate 4. |

Galley features 4-Ring gas hob and oven with grill, Fridge/Freezer and plenty of storage. A solid fuel stove with back boiler to radiator and Calorifier provides plenty of warmth and hot water. Spacious shower, sink and new Portpotti toilet. 240v landline plus 12v throughout. Regularly serviced, Oil change every 3 to 4 months.
She has been passionately maintained by its owners.
In the last year alone she has had a complete repaint, blacked, new anodes, new carpets throughout, new batteries, shower pump, upholstery, memory foam mattress, Sterling battery management system, fly screens to front doors and portholes etc. etc..
She handles like a dream and can turn in the smallest of spaces. Inexpensive to run, and simple to maintain she makes the perfect weekend and holiday boat.
Currently moored at Aston Marina in Stone, Staffordshire. Mooring spot is available if required.
A full survey was carried out last year.

It features dutch windows in the saloon area and portholes in the other areas, and it includes 2 large pidgeon hatches. Signwriting by Andy Russell. It has a Beta 43 marine engine with 451 hours, 2 years warranty, mastervolt 2.500 mass combi, pure sine wave inverter/charger, dometic travel power 3.5KW, Webasto boiler and central heating system. The shower room features two toilets, one pump out and one Thetford cassette, full sized 900mm corner shower and ceramic sink, tiled floor. The kitchen cabinets are handmade in solid ash, with granite worktops with recessed drainer, Franke sink and taps. Includes Bosch washing machine, 6kg, Waco fridge, and domestic sized Belling gas cooker with hob. In the saloon there is a Morso squirrel stovepot, and fitted home entertainment/storage cupboards in ash. Leaded doors leading out to the bow with fitted cratch cover made by Coverit, also Pramhood canopy to the stern. All soft furnishings included and purpose built bed settee made by Elite. The bedroom has an in line double bed, and television connections. There is ample storage surrounding the bed, with double wardrobe. |
